I think I moved from one Desert to another. These cacti are everywhere. Guantanamo is very arid most of the time. This time of year is the rainy season so the humidity is high and the mosquitoes are everywhere. There are tropical plants here as well. It's a strange mix.

Yes, you are right! I'm Cuban my self. Guantamo is the only Cuban desert, as dry as Sonora desert! There is no fresh water over there! They have to treat the salt water from the sea to get fresh water, (and that is very expensive.)
