A trip to Hicacal
Last weekend Jerry and I took a kayak to Hicacal Beach across the bay. Hicacal is famous for sandy beaches, fabulous shells, and sand fleas. I loaded up on bug spray just to be on the safe side.
Jerry almost stepped on this baby stingray.

Love your blog on Gitmo! I lived there from 62-71; 77-81 and 84-86 so seeing these pics really have brought back lovely memories for me! I will return and look a lot more - I am sure there are lots of changes to the base since I lived there but Gitmo will always be my home!
